Bryan Lee McGlothin has been putting ink to
paper for almost a decade, and among his most successful stories comes three stage plays “Blind Love” –a one-act
play- produced by
Theatre Southwest in Houston, Texas, “Blind Love” –the full length play- and
“Have You Seen My Mother” both ran in
Country Playhouse
Theatre, in Houston. In 1998, his stage play, “Have You Seen My Mother”, was also chosen as a semi-finalist
in the Siena College International Playwrights Competition, placing in the top 12 out of 220 scripts.
Bryan is a fresh, new author and his first non-fiction book
“Have You Seen My Mother” emerges from years of
research following the reunion with his mother after more than thirty years of separation due to Bryan’s abduction by his
father.
Bryan’s labor of love, pain and sadness has brought him to an understanding he could never have imagined, and is now
proud to present his and his mother’s story, as she has no voice for herself.
In addition of his writing career, Bryan -a proud member of Screen Actors Guild- has recently worked with
Jonathan Rhys-Meyers in “Elvis", to air on CBS May 8th, and with Mariel Hemingway in “Warning: Parental
Advisory”, a VH1 Movie. Bryan has also worked on several independent films, commercials, and in many stage
productions in the Houston, Texas area theatres.
